Routines for agentbookings in Greece

Invoice for commission
As the Greek authorities have straighten up the routines for chartercompanies, we have to change our routines towards our agents.
For every charter we sell through an agent, we need a specific invoice on the agent commission. The same routine applies for charters in Turkey.
The routine is, from now on, that we, Navigare Yachting Ltd, Greece, issue a receipt/invoice on the total amount for the charter, which the endclient paid for the charter. (Important: If the client paid another amount than the grossamount on the invoice, you need to give us that amount in order to write the correct paid amount on the invoice to the client)
The endclient, your client, will receive this receipt/invoice on the pier at arrival.
We issue the chartercontract on the gross amount, the amount your client paid to you. In order to clear our financial books for each charter, we need an invoice on the commissionamount
On the invoice for the commission, we need:
1. Chartercode
2. Boat name.
3. Charterperiod
4. The commissionamount and of course the details of the agent company.
5. The invoice has to be attached to Navigare Yachting Ltd, Esperou Str 19, 175 61 P Faliro, Athens, Greece, VAT number 999903510 and VAT-office Plion Perea. (as written on the top of your invoice for the charter.)
6. Also the date of the invoice has to be in the same month as the charter started.
An electronic invoice is fine, please, send it to
bodil@navigare-yachting.com. If you want to send it through normal post, please use the invoice adress.
If you have several charters starting the same month, you can put all charters on the same invoice, but anyhow we need to ask you to write all the above details for each charter.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Skipper licences
Because of new strict rules regarding skipper licences it is extremely important that your client follow these requirements:
1. Their sailing certificate should be from an official authority or a sailing certificate issued by an authorized sailing school.
2. It has to be a SAILING certificate, it is NOT enough with pleasure boat license or motor yacht license. 3. The certificate has to be in English or Greek language
4. For a non EU member it is even more necessary to have the license in English or in Greek language in original or translated in an authorized way.
5. If the port police require, the skipper is obliged to sign a statement and declare that the certificate he brings is in original.
6. The co-skipper also needs a license. It is also ok with a co skipper statement, the same that we have used the last years.
Charter procedures
1.Please remember to send us the crew list by Sedna or email at the latest 2 weeks before charter.
2. Please get a copy of the skipper license and if possible also the co skipper, this will reduse the time they wait at the pier if we have all the paper work prepared.
3. If you are not sure of the skipper license please send it to us for approval before charter and should you face any other problems with translations please let us know in advance so we can assist in the best way possible!
